Whistle is committed to maintaining the security of everyone within the Whistle community. We will collect certain information from you but we will strive to protect the privacy and confidentiality of your information. Whistle cannot guarantee the protection of your information by third parties including without limitation, the hotels and other businesses with which we work.

This policy covers the collection and use of information obtained through the websites on which this policy appears as well as the information we collect and process at the direction of our clients via application programming interface (API) endpoints.

If you do not agree with or accept our Privacy Policy in its entirety, you must not access or use Whistle or its services. What information we collect

When you access the Whistle website (www.TryWhistle.com), your computer or device sends us information including but not limited to IP address, device identifier, name, and type, operating system, location, mobile network information, browser type, traffic to and from our site, and the pages you accessed on our site. Additionally, when signing up for our services you may be asked to provide contact information, including your name, address, phone, email, and other similar information and financial information, such as account information, billing & credit charges, or any other financial information.

Whistle may also collect information from you when you access our services through a third party such as Google, Facebook, or Twitter. The information we have access to varies by site, according to your privacy settings on that site and your authorization. By associating an account managed by a third party with your Whistle account and authorizing Whistle to have access to this information, you agree that Whistle may collect, store, and use this information in accordance with this privacy policy.

If you are a Whistle Customer, then we will collect information provided during the registration process. Your information may be collected through service providers for processing payment information. Whistle does not collect or store any payment card information.

If you are a consumer, then we will collect information that you provide to a customer, such as your name, email address, and phone number. Lastly, we may collect additional information from or about you from contact with our customer support team, responses to surveys, interactions with members of the Whistle corporate family, and from other companies.

When you access our website or content or use Whistle services, we or companies we work with may place small data files called cookies or pixel tags on your computer or other devices. How the information is used

We use this information primarily to ensure security, and provide, maintain, and improve exceptional user experiences and content. In regard to security, we may use your information to prevent potentially prohibited or illegal activities, enforce our Service Agreement, and to verify your identity and information. In regard to user experience, we may use your information to provide Whistle services and support, process transactions and send notices of said transactions, resolve disputes, collect fees, and troubleshoot any problems. Lastly, in regard to providing content, we may use your information to customize, measure the content of Whistle services, website, and applications, deliver targeted marketing, service update notices, and promotional offers based on your communication preferences, and compare information for accuracy and verify it with third parties.

Additionally, your information may be used in conjunction with information we collect from other companies to improve and personalize Whistle services, content, and advertising. If you don’t wish to receive marketing communications from us, simply email us with a request and we will address the matter within seven business days. Please be aware that Whistle reserves the right to sell or rent your personal information to third parties for their marketing purposes without your explicit consent, and according to federal and state laws. Whistle may aggregate anonymous data and share with third parties.

If you open a Whistle account on a third party website or via a third party application, any information that you enter on that website, application, or entity other than Whistle will be shared with the owner of the third party website or application and your information may be subject to their privacy policies.

Managing Your Personal Information

Federal and state laws allow you to restrict the sharing of your personal information in certain instances. However, these laws also state that you cannot restrict other types of sharing. You can may restrict your information or sharing information in the follow manners:

Children Under the Age of 13

Whistle’s services are not intended for children under 13 years of age. No one under age 13 may provide any personal information to or on our website or applications. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are under 13, do not use our website or applications or provide any information about yourself to us, including your name, address, telephone number, e-mail address or any screen name or user name you may use. If we learn we have collected or received personal information from a child under 13 without verification of parental consent, we will delete that information. Your California Privacy Rights

California residents who provide personal information in obtaining products or services for personal, family, or household use are entitled to request and obtain from us once a calendar year information about the client information we shared, if any, with other businesses for their own direct marketing use. If applicable, this information would include the categories of client information and the names and addresses of those businesses with which we shared client information for the immediately prior calendar year (e.g., requests made in 2017 will receive information regarding 2016 sharing activities).

If you are visiting or visit Whistle from the European Union or other regions with laws governing data collection and use, then you are agreeing to the transfer of your information to the United States of America. By providing your information you are consenting to transfers and processing of your information in accordance to this Policy.
